

September - Back to Yoga
Summer is still here but we are all sharpening our pencils, getting back into routines and getting back to yoga class. We are back to 3 classes per week - Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday, same times and locations.
Sunday - Using a Chair as a Prop in Yoga
Sundays 9am - September 17 through October 29 - 7 classes/$84
Class is on Zoom, enjoy it from the comfort of your home
All you need for this class is a chair without wheels and without arms. We begin the class seated in a chair then move up to standing using the chair as a prop to assist us with poses. We then move down to the floor again using the chair to assist. If you are unable to get down onto the floor, the poses can be adapted using another chair or a stool.
Tuesday - Beyond Beginner Yoga Class
Tuesdays 6pm -7pm - September 5 through October 24 - 8 classes/$96
Class: 324-1175 Cook St at View St
This class is more vigorous than the other two. The class starts on the floor, we then move to standing poses and end the class back on the floor. We do several sun salutations which are continuous movement so we build up some sweat. Bring your yoga mat to class and other props are provided.
Thursday - Yoga Class Open to All
Thursdays 7pm-8pm - September 21 - November 23 - No classes October 5 or 26 - 8 classes/$96
Class: Burnside Gorge Community Centre, 471 Cecelia Road
This class is more vigorous than the other two. The class starts on the floor, we then move to standing poses and end the class back on the floor. We do several sun salutations which are continuous movement so we build up some sweat. Bring your yoga mat to class and other props are provided.
